Dr. Richard C. Ostenson Cancer Center—
Outpatient
Care
Center builds on Good Samaritan’s
distinguished reputation for cancer care
“When I was diagnosed
with breast cancer at 39, I was shocked. I never thought
I’d be the one who needed the new Cancer
Center, but here I am. I think it will be a big
benefit to patients like me because when you
get the diagnosis, you want to make
things as easy and close as
possible.”

The Dr. Richard C. Ostenson Cancer Center at Good Samaritan builds on Good Samaritan’s existing cancer care program, which is already among the most comprehensive and respected in the Pacific Northwest.
Fully approved by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, this program cares for more cancer patients each year than any other program in Pierce County.
The Dr. Richard C. Ostenson Cancer Center at Good Samaritan has been built on the strengths of three partnering organizations: Good Samaritan Hospital, Rainier Physicians and Tacoma Valley Radiation Oncology. By combining the expertise and technologies of these three partners, patients have access to some of the most comprehensive services available anywhere including diagnosis, treatment and support.
You can help, find out how.
