Good Samaritan Community Healthcare and MultiCare Health System completed their planned affiliation on August 23, 2006 with the signing of final documents that detail how the two not-for-profit organizations will come together. The agreement caps months of negotiations and regulatory review.

Together, MultiCare Health System and Good Samaritan Hospital have 7,600 employees and credential 1,600 physicians.
