Heart care
Cardiac catheterization laboratory
With
its cardiac catheterization laboratory, Good Samaritan Hospital provides
state-of-the-art care to adult patients who have cardiovascular, electrophysiological
and vascular illnesses.
The cardiac catheterization lab opened in 2000 and greatly expanded Good Samaritan’s heart-related medical services. The “cath" lab makes it more convenient for eastern Pierce County residents with some cardiovascular diseases to receive the majority of their care closer to home.
Good Samaritan‘s cardiac catheterization lab performs both diagnostic procedures and emergency interventional procedures. The cardiac catheterization lab enables Good Samaritan‘s medical staff to fully treat most heart attack victims.
